David and his wife Winnie work hard to make ends meet, running a shop each in Kampala’s busy neighbourhood Namuwongo.
David takes care of the electronics shop, his wife Winnie the clothing boutique. They started the electronics shop in 2013 and the boutique in 2016.
In 2018, David started providing bill payment services through EzeeMoney in the electronics shop. After seeing that it increased business and income, they purchased a second point-of-sale (POS) device to be able to provide the same bill payment services in the boutique. The payment services now constitute a fundamental part of their shop revenues. They started using Flow in March 2019 and since then have taken 34 float advances worth UGX 56,000,000 (USD 15,000). Flow has helped them to increase income by 40% across their shops. They see Flow as a key partner to keep growing their businesses.
